Bohemian Spartacus

I do not love growing dinner plate type dahlias, but I do love this one.  The petals are darker red, nearly burgundy in life than in the photos with streaks of a warm yellow.  As most dinner plates, it is a little later coming on than the ball types, but well worth the wait in my opinion.
